For 25 years, Living Cities has harnessed the collective power of 18 of the world's largest foundations and financial institutions to improve the lives of low-income people in America’s cities through public sector innovation, collective impact, capital innovation and open sourcing social change.

Living Cities aimed to convert its knowledge into lasting social impact by finding new ways to disseminate learnings and expand visibility of outcomes from its network of partners.

IDEA

> Drive interest and support around the need for new solutions for low-income people in U.S. cities through a 3+ year sustained media strategy

> Put a media and thought leadership platform in place around CEO Ben Hecht and key initiative-focused announcements, such as the Massachusetts Juvenile Justice Pay for Success Initiative, the Civic Tech and Data Collaborative and Bloomberg innovation teams (i-teams)

RESULTS

Living Cities expanded its visibility and influence in the “cities” dialogue, helping to achieve the long-term goal of converting its knowledge into greater social impact.
